A World of Delicious Delights

Over the last seven years, thanks to two foodie friend couples of mine, I have grown to appreciate wine and beer in ways I never thought I would. When I was younger (read 20s), I only had a taste for sweet white wines and no beers at all... of course, 20+ years ago there didn't seem to be the selection (or easily accessible selection) of options there are today.

I am an odd contradiction of tastes when it comes to beer and wine. I appear to either like very, very expensive beers and wines, or extremely cheap ones. In an attempt to understand my likes and dislikes, and to record my impressions of my encounters with spirits, I have started this blog.
